Questions

If you have questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please send an email to privacy@redplc.com.

How we Acquire Information

  • In the course of handling transactions, we usually receive information related to the transaction from the merchant or financial institution. This normally includes information about the transaction that the consumer has furnished to the merchant or financial institution in placing the order.
  • We do not currently acquire any information from consumers at this web site.

Nature of Information that We Acquire

  • The personally identifiable information we acquire in processing transactions varies according to the nature of the transaction and the way in which merchants or financial institutions are using our services. It may include the amount of the transaction, the consumer's name, credit card number and expiration date, account number, billing address, and shipping address as well as other transaction information.

Security of Information

  • We store transaction information on secure computers located in locked data centres. Only a small number of employees involved in the management of the data centres have physical access to these computers. Where applicable, we encrypt information as a further measure of protection. We use state-of-the-art firewalls and other security technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons.

Access to Information by Our Employees

  • Employees have access to some transaction information in order to respond to questions from our clients and to perform their proper roles and responsibilities. We limit that access to the minimum information they require to be able to provide prompt, high quality service.

Provision of Information to Others

  • To perform some of our services we pass information about payment transactions to card processors and banks.
  • Depending upon the options chosen by our clients (retailers), one aspect of our transaction screening service involves sending transaction information to a business partner. This is to help identify potentially fraudulent transactions using the calculation of neural risk scores.

Questions

If you have questions or concerns about this privacy policy, or have any queries regarding the collection, use or disclosure of personal information by Retail Decisions, then please send an e-mail to privacy@redplc.com.
